Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi

The genesis of the KV : 

Kendriya Vidyalaya , Barkuhi  is  one of the oldest and biggest schools in the WCL Pench Area.  

It came into existence in 1984 in the old building situated at Chandametta..

Important milestones of growth:

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi started functioning in the old building at Chandametta in 1984.

School shifted in the new building at Barkuhi in 1989.

 

Gradual Year wise expansion

      a) 1984-School started functioning in the old building at Chandametta.
      b) 1989 - School shifted in the new building at Barkuhi
      c) 1990- First batch of  Class X presented for CBSE  Examination
      d) 1992- First batch of  Class XII presented for CBSE  Examination

e) 2007 –One more section  added in Class I

f) Now we have a spacious building with all infrastructure facilities located in Barkuhi with

   a strength of 1141 students and 46 dedicated staff.

g) The Vidyalaya has three sections from Class I to VI, two sections from class VII to XII.

    In class XI and XII , Vidyalaya is offering Science as well as Commerce Stream.
